Frequently asked questions
Clear answers about what Viva Longer is, how to import your data, and what Viva is not.
What is Viva Longer?
Viva Longer is a free web and mobile product from Viva Longer LLC that helps you organize health records and blood tests, see results against optimal ranges, track longevity-related clinical metrics, and ask questions with AI support inspired by high-end concierge care.
Is Viva Longer a doctor or medical advice?
No. Viva Longer is not a real doctor and does not provide medical advice, diagnosis, or treatment. Always consult a licensed physician about your health. Never use Viva instead of, or before, talking with a real doctor.
How do I import my health data?
On iOS or Android, open Import Results from the side menu. You can:
- Connect your health provider — sign in to your clinic or hospital patient portal and import available lab results.
- Import from Apple Health (iPhone) or Health Connect (Android) — bring in labs already in those apps, plus activity and related metrics.
On the web app at app.vivalonger.com, you can also bring in labs through setup and provider connect flows. You choose what to share; Viva only imports after you authorize access.
How do I import from my health provider?
Use this when your labs live in a hospital or clinic patient portal (for example Epic MyChart–style portals that support secure connect).
- Open the Viva app → Import Results.
- Choose Connect health provider.
- Sign in with your provider’s patient portal and approve access.
- Viva imports available lab results into your record. Reconnect later anytime to pull newer results.
What you get depends on what your provider shares through their portal. If a portal isn’t available, try Apple Health / Health Connect, or upload through the web setup flows.
How do I import from Apple Health?
Best on iPhone when labs or metrics are already in the Apple Health app (often after connecting your provider to Health).
- Open Viva → Import Results → Apple Health.
- Allow Viva to read the categories you want (lab results when present, plus activity and related metrics).
- Viva imports that data into your record so you can view optimal ranges, trends, and ask questions.
On Android, use Health Connect from the same Import Results screen. If labs aren’t in Apple Health yet, connect your health provider in Viva or in Apple Health first, then import again.
What can I do with my labs and health records?
You can bring in labs and health data, view markers against optimal ranges, track clinical metrics such as PhenoAge (biological age), TyG, HOMA-IR, and hs-CRP, and stay on top of prevention and screening checklists. You can also ask questions in plain language about what is already in your record.
How does Viva’s AI work?
Viva uses AI to help you analyze health records and blood tests, ask questions grounded in your data, and log items such as immunizations or uploads. AI output is educational support only — not a substitute for licensed medical care.
Is Viva Longer free?
Yes. The same product is free to use on web and mobile for managing and understanding your health records.
Where can I use Viva Longer?
Use the web app at app.vivalonger.com, and native apps on iOS and Android. This marketing site is www.vivalonger.com.
How does Viva Longer handle privacy and health data?
Viva Longer LLC describes how information is collected, used, and shared in our Privacy Policy and Consumer Health Data Privacy Policy. For questions, email info@vivalonger.com.
Is there a physicians portal?
Yes. Physicians can register for the Viva physicians portal to follow patient labs, clinical metrics, and prevention status when patients share access. See For Physicians to register.
